Gen. Polko: only two of six Polish divisions combat-ready, but morale is strong

General Roman Polko commented on Radio Zet on a Rzeczpospolita report claiming that only two of Poland's six military divisions would be combat-ready within hours of a Russian attack. Polko pushed back against claims that Poland "would lose in two days," stressing the strong fighting spirit of Polish soldiers. He acknowledged, however, that significant gaps in readiness do exist.
