Baltic beaches rich in amber after the storm — best spots to search

Recent Baltic storms have washed large quantities of amber onto Polish beaches, making conditions ideal for collectors. The best hunting grounds are beaches on the Hel Peninsula, near Gdańsk, and around Jantarny. Amber seekers are advised to head out at dawn immediately after the waves recede, before other collectors arrive.
