Roberto Martinez sacked — Portugal looking for new national team coach

The Portuguese Football Federation has parted ways with coach Roberto Martinez following the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Portugal joins a growing list of national teams making managerial changes in the wake of the tournament. Martinez had been in charge since 2022, when he replaced Fernando Santos.
