Pesticide levels exceed limits in frozen Egyptian strawberries bound for Poland

Frozen strawberries imported from Egypt to Poland were found to contain two pesticides exceeding permitted limits. The EU's rapid alert system RASFF classified the case as a "potential risk." Poland imported over 62,000 tonnes of frozen strawberries from Egypt in 2024 alone.
