Polish consumer watchdog raids BIK, ING Bank Śląski and mBank with police

Poland's consumer protection authority UOKiK, acting with court approval and accompanied by police, searched the headquarters of the Credit Information Bureau (BIK) as well as ING Bank Śląski, mBank and mBank Hipoteczny. The reasons behind the raids have not been disclosed. Such searches typically precede formal antitrust or consumer rights proceedings.
