Polish doctors earn European wages but the healthcare system lags behind, says NRL chief

Dr Łukasz Jankowski, head of the Supreme Medical Council (NRL), said on Wednesday that Polish doctors now earn salaries comparable to European levels, but the healthcare system itself does not meet European standards. He stated that a gross monthly salary of 30,000 PLN would be sufficient for doctors. He argued the real problem lies not in pay but in the organisation and quality of the health system as a whole.
