Kotula: Presidential veto on "closest person" bill would open path to same-sex marriage

Minister Katarzyna Kotula told Gazeta Wyborcza that if the president vetoes the "closest person" bill, he will effectively open the door to full marriage equality, as no middle-ground solution would remain. She added that if the decision depended solely on the president, the bill would already be signed. The legislation concerns legal recognition of partnerships in Poland.
