Polish Health Minister to Announce Doctor Pay and Hospital Reform Today
Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda is expected to announce a doctor pay reform at a press conference today, according to unofficial sources at Wirtualna Polska. Key elements include scrapping the existing pay-rise law, introducing hourly rate caps, requiring doctors to hold contracts for at least half a position at each facility, and expanding central e-registration.
