Egypt files FIFA complaint over referee in 2–3 World Cup loss to Argentina

Following the World Cup last-16 match in which Argentina defeated Egypt 3–2, the Egyptian football federation filed an official complaint with FIFA demanding the referee be punished. Egypt has serious objections to several of the official's decisions during the closely contested match. FIFA must now review the complaint and decide on any possible consequences.
