Orthopaedic Surgeon Billed Over 500,000 PLN in Two Months at Masovian Hospitals

A single orthopaedic surgeon issued two record monthly invoices to provincial hospitals in Masovia: 316,000 PLN for one month and 258,000 PLN for the next, totalling more than half a million zloty in two months, according to Wirtualna Polska. The doctor argued that several thousand zloty per operation reflects fair pay for his experience and qualifications. The invoices were issued in 2025.
