Water rescue services in Warmia-Masuria are urging people to stay off lakes as storms and winds of up to force 9 on the Beaufort scale are forecast for the region. Conditions on the water can change very rapidly, causing high waves and severely reduced visibility. Swimmers and boaters are strongly advised to remain on shore.
