Matura 2026: 81.1% of students passed, 12.3% eligible for August resit

Poland's Central Examination Commission announced the 2026 matura (school-leaving exam) results on Wednesday. A total of 81.1% of this year's secondary school graduates passed. Of those who failed, 12.3% — who failed only one subject — are entitled to a resit in August, while 6.6% failed more than one subject and have no resit option.
