Polish Unemployment Hits 5.8% — 902,000 Jobseekers Registered

Poland's unemployment rate reached 5.8% at the end of June 2026, according to preliminary estimates from the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. A total of 902,700 people were registered as unemployed at job centres — more than 100,000 more than a year ago. The figures point to a clear deterioration in the labour market.
