MEP Braun fined and banned 20 days from committee for remarks about Kallas

The European Parliament penalised MEP Grzegorz Braun for telling EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas in March 2025: "You are merely a silencer on the end of a barrel." Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that Braun will lose his daily allowance for two days and be barred from the security and defence committee for 20 days.
