Oil Surges After US Strikes on Iran – Brent Tops $76

US forces struck more than 80 targets in Iran in retaliation for attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, sending Brent crude up 3% to above $76 a barrel and West Texas Intermediate above $72. The strikes raised fresh fears about supply disruptions through one of the world's most critical oil shipping lanes.
