Ford recalls 177,000 vehicles over safety defects

Ford Motor Company has announced a safety recall covering 177,000 vehicles found to have defects posing a safety risk. The announcement comes shortly after the company was already repairing over 741,000 cars due to a separate fault reported in late June. In total, Ford is addressing safety issues in close to one million vehicles within a short period.
