Criterion Games (Burnout, NFS) leaves racing games to focus on Battlefield

Criterion Games, the studio behind the iconic Burnout series and co-developer of Need for Speed, is abandoning racing games after 30 years. The studio will focus exclusively on the Battlefield franchise. It marks the end of an era for one of gaming's most celebrated racing game developers.
