New Girl Creator to Write Britney Spears Biopic Script

The creator of the TV series "New Girl" has been selected to write the screenplay for the Britney Spears biopic. Universal acquired the rights to Spears' memoir "The Woman In Me" in 2024, with Marc Platt producing and Jon M. Chu directing. The writer's attachment is the first major update on the project since the deal was announced.
