Tusk announces urgent healthcare reforms after South Hospital scandal
Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that on Wednesday the Ministry of Health and the National Health Fund (NFZ) will present proposals for urgent changes to Poland's healthcare system, including doctors' salaries and the pricing of medical services. The announcement is a direct response to the scandal at the Szpital Południowy (South Hospital). Tusk stressed that the government does not intend to look for scapegoats.
