IOC Lifts Russia's Olympic Ban, Clearing Path to 2028 Games

The International Olympic Committee has "provisionally" lifted the suspension imposed on Russia following its invasion of Ukraine. A separate earlier ban related to systematic doping had already been lifted. The decision opens the door for Russian athletes to compete at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
