European Parliament criticises Zelensky over Ukrainian army unit named after UPA "heroes"
A European Parliament debate on Ukraine's EU accession was dominated by controversy over a Ukrainian army unit being named after UPA "heroes". Polish MEP Michał Dworczyk of PiS called on Kyiv to condemn Ukrainian nationalist ideology. German CDU MEP Michael Gahler described President Zelensky's move as a "political mistake".
