Poland among 5 NATO states set to hit 3.5% GDP defence spending target
Data released on the first day of the NATO summit in Ankara shows that five alliance members, including Poland, will reach the new defence spending target of 3.5% of GDP in 2026. This threshold is higher than the previous 2% benchmark set by NATO. Poland joins a small group of the alliance's top defence spenders.
