Lockheed Martin and Rheinmetall to produce ATACMS missiles in Europe

Lockheed Martin and Rheinmetall have signed an agreement to manufacture ATACMS missiles in Europe. The deal represents a significant step toward boosting European armaments production capacity and reducing dependence on US-based supply chains. ATACMS short-range ballistic missiles have been widely used, including by Ukraine in its defence against Russia.
