The Blood of Dawnwalker after 4 hours: a promising RPG from the director of The Witcher 3

A journalist has played four hours of The Blood of Dawnwalker, a vampire-themed RPG from Rebel Wolves — a studio founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — and describes it as having the makings of 2026's breakout RPG. The game features combat, romance and political intrigue, and was built by a team of former CD Projekt Red developers. A 90-minute preview was previously shown in April, but this marks the first hands-on account of actual gameplay.
