Toyota invests $3.6 billion to move Tacoma production from Mexico to Texas

Toyota has announced a $3.6 billion investment to move production of its mid-size Tacoma pickup truck from Mexico back to its plant in San Antonio, Texas. The Tacoma has been built exclusively in Mexico since 2021. The decision comes amid broader pressure from the Trump administration's tariffs on goods imported from Mexico.
