Poland sees one of EU's biggest rises in solo households — now 35% of all homes

In 2025, single-person households accounted for 35% of all households in Poland, up 51% over the past decade — one of the largest increases in the entire European Union. The loneliness epidemic is affecting a growing share of Polish society. Experts warn the trend carries serious demographic and social consequences.
