Apex Recordhunter drone hits 699 km/h — may set a world speed record

German company Quantum Systems claims its Apex Recordhunter drone reached 699 km/h in level flight, surpassing the current world speed record for an electric drone. The result has not yet been officially confirmed; if validated, it will be entered into the Guinness World Records. The achievement would make it the fastest electric drone in the world.
