Ukrainian drones attacked Russian shadow-fleet tankers in the Sea of Azov, damaging and setting fire to eight fuel vessels, as well as a cargo ship and a ferry. The commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces described the operation as a "battle for Crimea's fuel supply", suggesting the aim was to disrupt fuel deliveries to the peninsula. It represents one of the largest single strikes on Russian maritime infrastructure.
