Homo floresiensis Likely Didn't Hunt Big Game or Use Fire, New Study Finds

New research on Homo floresiensis, the small-brained "hobbit" human species from Flores Island in Indonesia, suggests the species probably did not hunt big game or use fire. The study was prompted by observations of a hungry Komodo dragon, and concludes the species was less behaviourally advanced than previously thought.
