Xbox layoffs hit Obsidian, id Software and ZeniMax Online Studios

Microsoft has carried out another wave of layoffs under its so-called "Xbox reset," affecting Obsidian Entertainment, id Software and ZeniMax Online Studios. The cuts are reportedly so significant that developers question whether they can continue work on current game projects. The studios are known for franchises including Fallout: New Vegas, DOOM and The Elder Scrolls Online.
