Microsoft patches Windows 11 bug that caused a single folder to consume several gigabytes

Microsoft has fixed a Windows 11 bug in which the CapabilityAccessManager.db-wal file grew to several gigabytes, wasting significant disk space. The fix is included in the optional June 2026 update (KB5095093). The patch improves disk space management for the affected file, which is installed on all Windows 11 PCs.
