Nolan Broke His Own Rule Casting Lupita Nyong'o in The Odyssey

Christopher Nolan broke one of his casting rules to cast Lupita Nyong'o in the dual role of Helen of Troy and her twin sister Clytemnestra in The Odyssey. The film also features Robert Pattinson as the villain Antinous, Tom Holland in his biggest non-Marvel role, and Benny Safdie as Agamemnon. Nyong'o's casting has generated the most attention and debate of any choice in the film.
