At least 9 police officers killed in attack in Balochistan, Pakistan

At least nine police officers were killed in an armed attack in the southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan. Provincial government spokesman Shahid Rind said that 15 assailants were killed during subsequent clearance operations. Balochistan has long been the scene of violent clashes between security forces and separatist groups.
