Tusk: Poland Backs Ukraine for Its Own Security, Not Out of Affection

Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated before a cabinet meeting that Poland will support Ukraine's defence against Russian aggression primarily because of Poland's own national security and interest, not sentiment. He stressed that solidarity with Ukraine does not require affection for the country. Tusk also warned against growing anti-Ukrainian sentiment in Polish society.
