Analysts: DRAM prices won't fall until late 2028, after surging first

Analysts at Bernstein forecast that SK hynix's gross margin on DRAM will peak at 92.7% in Q4 2025, meaning memory prices will stay elevated for consumers well into 2028 before any meaningful decline. The firm is one of the world's three dominant memory makers alongside Samsung and Micron, and is currently profiting heavily from the ongoing memory shortage. Shoppers hoping for cheaper RAM or NAND storage may need to wait until the end of 2028.
