Clair wearable reads hormones from the wrist and tracks the menstrual cycle
Startup Clair is developing a wrist-worn health tracker that reads hormone levels directly from the skin and factors the menstrual cycle into its health data analysis. Most existing fitness wearables have treated cycle-related fluctuations in heart rate, sleep and HRV as signs of stress or poor recovery, rather than normal physiological variation. Clair aims to build a device designed around female physiology from the ground up.
