Rare Siberian Stejneger's scoter spotted in Krynica Morska — only 11th record in Poland

A Stejneger's scoter — a duck species native mainly to Siberia and remote parts of Asia — has been spotted at Krynica Morska on the Polish Baltic coast. This is only the 11th documented record of the species appearing in Poland. The sighting has delighted ornithologists and birdwatchers across the country.
