The first LEGO Pokémon set to include minifigures, featuring Professor Oak and Red, will debut later this year, leaked images have revealed.
Images for the Iconic Trainer Moments: Poké Ball set are now widespread online, revealing the intricate 2,343-brick LEGO design which will also include three minifigures.

The set's design is a spherical Pokéball that hinges open to reveal a miniature diorama inside. In the ball's lid, Professor Oak waits in his lab offering you a choice of three Pokéballs to start your adventure — a scene that's straight out of Pokémon Red and Blue.
The ball's base, meanwhile, features minifigures of Red and a Picnicker enemy, standing opposite each other, ready to battle. The surroundings are leafy — is this Viridian Forest? Miniature models of Pikachu and Eevee are also included.
LEGO Pokémon sets to date have been limited to scale models for display, or smaller scale builds meant to function as toys, imbued with Smart Brick technology. This Pokéball set, however, features the first minifigures that fans have been calling for.
While we can gaze at the images today, LEGO is yet to make the set official — meaning a final, confirmed price and release date is yet to be confirmed. However, reliable LEGO leak sources have pointed to the set launching on October 1, and priced between $260-$300.
This year is Pokémon's 30th anniversary, though no new game in the franchise is planned for this Christmas. Instead, the franchise's long-awaited 10th generation games Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves will arrive sometime in 2027, exclusively for Switch 2. In the meantime, smash hit life simulation game Pokémon Pokopia will continue to receive updates, while the evergreen Pokémon Go will announce what's next for the game in a special livestream later this week.
