Xbox Cuts 60–70 Staff at Obsidian, Leaving Projects' Future Uncertain

Microsoft cut around 60–70 people from Obsidian Entertainment as part of what Xbox gaming boss Asha Sharma called the most significant restructure in Xbox history, with 3,200 staff being let go in total. Obsidian, the studio behind Fallout: New Vegas, Avowed, The Outer Worlds, Grounded and Pentiment, lost several long-serving veterans in the cuts. According to Kotaku, remaining staff are unsure how the studio's large slate of ongoing projects can continue following the losses.
