Paris court: Le Pen eligible to run in 2027 presidential election

A Paris appeals court upheld Marine Le Pen's conviction for misuse of European Parliament funds. The court imposed a 45-month ban on holding public office, but suspended 30 of those months. As a result, Le Pen remains eligible to run in France's 2027 presidential election.
