Hydrologist warns Wielkopolska and Kujawy most at risk of desertification in Poland

Naturalist and hydrologist Piotr Bednarek warns that Poland faces a growing water deficit, with no region in a "good situation." The Wielkopolska and Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeships are identified as the most severely affected. Rising temperatures are accelerating desertification and visibly transforming the Polish landscape.
