"Dances with Wolves" gets extended director's cut with 30 extra minutes at Locarno

Kevin Costner's "Dances with Wolves" will be screened at the Locarno Film Festival in a restored 4K director's cut featuring nearly 30 minutes of previously unseen footage. The 1990 film, which won seven Academy Awards, will appear in the Histoire(s) du Cinéma section dedicated to cinema classics. It was Costner's directorial debut and received a total of twelve Oscar nominations in 1991.
