Denmark Buys Two P-8 Poseidon Aircraft to Patrol Greenland and the Arctic

The Danish government has announced the purchase of two Boeing P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft from the United States. The planes, known as submarine hunters, will be used to patrol the Arctic waters around Greenland and the northern Atlantic. The acquisition reflects growing Western concern over Arctic security.
