President signs law: if an office misses its deadline, the citizen's request is approved

Poland's President has signed a law that significantly broadens the scope of administrative matters subject to the "silent consent" rule. Under the new regulation, if a public office fails to issue a decision within the statutory deadline, the citizen's application is automatically considered approved. The change is intended to speed up public administration and reduce bureaucratic delays.
