TL;DR

Samsung’s Home Up app has received two new features.

These features are support for multi-finger gestures (up to five fingers) and app dock customization.

These features are apparently only available for Galaxy devices running One UI 9.

The Home Up app gives you a ton of ways to personalize your Galaxy phone’s home screen and recents menu. Samsung isn’t stopping here, though, as it’s adding more features to this Good Lock app as part of the One UI 9 software upgrade.

GalaxyTechie on X spotted two notable features in the Home Up app for One UI 9. The biggest addition is support for multi-finger gestures, such as swiping down with three fingers or pinching with several fingers. You can assign various actions to these gestures, such as switching between apps, activating the recents menu, taking a screenshot, or going home. Samsung also lets you use up to five fingers for these gestures.

KYIV — Ukrainian armed forces hit multiple targets in Russia on Monday night, damaging an airport in Belgorod and a microchip manufacturer building “electronic warfare and weaponry” for Russia in the Bryansk region.

Aleksandr Shuvaev, acting governor in the Belgorod region, said three people were killed and 11 injured: “Although most of the missiles were intercepted, some struck civilian infrastructure,” he wrote on Telegram .

The Ukrainian Army General Staff claimed responsibility for the strikes but said they only targeted military facilities: “Two defense industry facilities in the Bryansk region, the oil depot at Belgorod airfield, bridges and other enemy targets have been struck,” the army wrote on Facebook.

Russian defense ministry claimed it shot down 452 Ukrainian drones over 16 Russian regions and occupied Crimea, while Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said over 430 of those drones were heading towards the Russian capital before they were shot down by air defense.

The strikes follow Russia’s deadly attack on the Ukrainian capital on Sunday night, which killed at least 12 people and injured at least 50. The attacks prompted President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to call for more Western support. “It is critically important that the world — first and foremost the United States and our European partners — come out of the NATO summit in Turkey with strong decisions in support of our air defense,” Zelenskyy wrote on X on Monday.

A Ghost in the Shell tabletop RPG is inbound, and it plunges players straight into the beloved story by letting them create their own Section 9 agent.

Developed by Mantic Games (the studio behind wargames like Halo: Flashpoint) and due to launch on Backerit later in July, this Ghost in the Shell tabletop RPG is based on the manga by Shirow Masamune rather than the anime. It promises to be "the most authentic tabletop roleplaying experience ever created" for the franchise, and features a custom system put together by the legendary designer Alessio Cavatore (co-creator of Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game, Mordheim, Kings of War, and more) alongside Zak Barouh, an award-winning tabletop RPG writer.

It's still early days so we can't tell for sure how this system will compare to the best tabletop RPGs , but Mantic promises that it "combines fast-paced, narrative-driven mechanics with the philosophical depth and visual flair that define The Ghost in the Shell." Judging by the sneak-peek via DrivethruRPG , it appears to use different dice to represent your character's skill rather than static numbers that provide a bonus. They might use a d8 for reflexes but have a d12 for hacking, say.

(Image credit: Mantic Games) A lot also seems to hinge on your character's "Synthesis Conflict" that represents an inner conflict they're fighting. This provides "a way to reflect character development through a personal story tied to each Player Character," and uses aspects like duty vs. family, humanity vs. technology, or tradition vs. progress.

Not that the Ghost in the Shell tabletop RPG is purely philosophical, of course; you'll need to arm up with cybernetic enhancements along with a host of weapons to battle corruption in this dystopian future, and it seems as though you'll be able to use miniatures for fights if you'd like.

We'll be able to find out soon enough. The Ghost in the Shell: Tabletop Roleplaying Game will launch on Backerit this July 28, and backers will immediately receive the full digital rulebook as a PDF after the campaign ends.

VIENNA — Lockheed Martin and Rheinmetall have signed an agreement to co-produce the U.S. Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) at Rheinmetall’s Unterlüß site in northern Germany, marking the first time the ballistic missile is set to be manufactured outside the United States.

The memorandum of understanding, announced at the NATO Summit Defense Industry Forum in Ankara, was backed by both the U.S. and German governments and is described by the companies as a step toward a joint venture that would create a European “centre of excellence” for manufacturing, integrating and distributing ATACMS to NATO and allied forces.

Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger called Unterlüß’s selection a way to strengthen “the industrial base in Germany for modern defense systems,” while Lockheed Martin’s European chief, Dennis Goege, framed the deal as pairing “proven U.S. technology with European manufacturing strength.”

Unterlüß, a 125-year-old Rheinmetall site employing roughly 4,000 people, has been expanding rapidly: a new artillery-ammunition plant opened last year, and a rocket-motor factory now nearing completion is slated to begin producing motors and guided-missile components as early as 2027. That timeline tracks with earlier statements from Papperger, who in May said full missile production would start in 2027 and scale up through 2028 and 2029 to meet what Rheinmetall estimates is annual European and Ukrainian demand of 600 to 800 ATACMS units.

The move addresses a real bottleneck. Lockheed Martin has been winding down ATACMS output at its Camden, Arkansas, plant as it prioritizes the newer Precision Strike Missile, which is set to eventually replace ATACMS in the U.S. arsenal − even as European and Ukrainian demand for the older missile remains high.

Once implemented, the site in Germany will be the first non-American location to produce ATACMS missiles. Lockheed says it will keep running the Arkansas line until the transition to European production is complete.

The Rheinmetall-Lockheed partnership has been building for over a year: the two firms first signed a missile-cooperation MOU in 2024, expanded it in April 2025 to cover a broader “Center of Competence” for missiles and guided weapons, and by last August were already discussing ATACMS and Hellfire specifically for Unterlüß. Whether Tuesday’s MOU translates into an approved joint venture still depends on U.S. government sign-off, since ATACMS technology transfer requires Washington’s consent.
