Exercise Zima-20 was rigged to discredit Gen. Andrzejczak at Błaszczak's behest

According to the book "Armia w ruinie," based on journalist interviews with military officers, the Zima-20 war exercise was deliberately designed to make General Rajmund Andrzejczak fail — providing grounds to remove him as chief of staff. Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak was reportedly behind the scheme. On the evening of the exercise, President Duda summoned the general for a meeting.
