Big Tech fined over 13 billion PLN for breaching EU AI regulations
Tech giants including Anthropic, Meta and Apple have already paid fines exceeding 13 billion Polish zlotys (around €3 billion) for breaching EU artificial intelligence regulations, according to analysis shared with Rzeczpospolita. The penalties signal that Brussels is taking enforcement of AI rules seriously. Companies that hoped Europe would be a profitable AI market are instead facing steep compliance costs.
