Etna eruption shuts Catania airport — flights including to Poland cancelled
The eruption of Mount Etna in Sicily forced the suspension of all flights at Catania Fontanarossa International Airport until 2 p.m. on Tuesday. The closure was initially expected to last until 10 a.m. but was extended. Polish tourists travelling to or from Sicily are among those affected by the disruption.
