Polish university ranking reform to prioritise research quality over points

Poland's Ministry of Science is planning to end the so-called "points race" in university evaluation, according to Deputy Minister Zioło-Pużuk. The new assessment criteria are set to prioritise the quality of academic research and working conditions at universities. Detailed rules of the reform have not yet been made public.
