Yield Guild Games lays off 35 staff and shuts its game publishing arm

Yield Guild Games (YGG) has laid off 35 employees and shut down its YGG Play game publishing business, citing tough conditions in both the crypto and video game markets. The company said YGG Play was no longer commercially sustainable. YGG plans to pivot its focus toward artificial intelligence.
